1975 - 2025: Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the fall of the South in Vietnam. Millions of people were separated, and losing their families and loved ones left lasting sadness and sorrow within the community.
As Vietnamese refugees, our souls always honour the sacred Yellow with Three Red Stripe Flag of the Fatherland. We brought Vietnamese language, customs, culture, music, arts and cuisine to our new country.
The Vietnamese say that the birds will land when everything is peaceful, and the birds have landed in the peaceful country of Canada, where the people are rich in humanity.The Vietnamese people have learned and absorbed the culture, music, and arts of this land.
This concert is a collaboration between the East and West, with a mix of Vietnamese and Canadian singers, artists, and bands. These include famous musicians and winners of many prestigious awards such as Juno Award winners and Grammy Award nominees. They will be in charge of the orchestra and orchestration for the entire Spring 2025 Special Chamber Music program this year.
